oplan blind date

looking for a suitable blind date is not that easy. for one thing, i don't have a plethora of male acquaintances. i can count with my one hand the number of males i can call my real friends, while the rest of my male acquaintances are boyfriends of friends, friends of friends, relatives of friends, brods of friends, colleagues and classmates- in short people i only bump into occasionally, but do not have any meaningful relationship with. worse yet, males in my age bracket are 'in serious relationships', so none of them is really that gungho on blind dates (not withstanding the fact that i offered to pay for the expenses). i have to go through the friends' network thing. but the problem with that is- most people find the 'blind date kris kringle' a bit ridiculous to believe. some think that their friends are setting them up for a practical joke; it takes a bit of convincing.

so, after considering a few candidates, 1 rejection of a possible date, 1 retraction from a supposed to be date, I am now down 2 two candidates. the no.1 choice said to call him in his law office as he thinks he is being set up [by my friend] on a surprise date with their common friend (need i mention again that the modified kris kringle idea is quite unbelievable?). so tomorrow I am going to ring ACCRA to consult on the possiblity of engaging one of their legal minds for a blind date. if that does not pan out, then one of the'brods' of the that 'eminently' good looking (daw)and oldest fraternity in Diliman will do.

ohhh...bugger. this better be good
